My Summer with the BOYS!

I spend my summer days with four boys in Springboro. We had so much fun making forts in the basement, going to the park, playing Sharks and Minnows at the pool, visiting Boonshoft Museum, getting wet at the Centerville Waterpark, watching movies at home and at the theatre, rainy day trips to Bananas Play, the dollar store, or to get some yummy ice cream. We had so much FUN! There was never a dull moment and we always were doing something fun. They got the opportunity to play with their neighborhood friends and just be kids. I think it was nice for them to have a relaxed schedule and let them have the opportunity to choose what to do each day. I remember my summers as a child being very similar. I also got to know all of the neighborhood kids as well. They would be knocking on the door at 9 am (sometimes earlier!) ready to play. I had to convince Tucker and Cooper to eat breakfast and brush their teeth before they went outside to play. I got to hang out with some very cute puppies as well. Tucker and Cooper have two lovable dogs, Buddy and Dutch. Alex and Logan have two adorable blondes, Corona and Gracie. I am an animal lover, especially of dogs so I had a blast playing with these adorable pooches. The wonderful part about it is that they were so awesome that they let me bring Cassius with me. I didn't bring him every single day, but I loved the fact that he could be with me. He got to play with the kids and the other dogs instead of being in his crate. It was such a great experience to have him around the kids and play with the doggies. He was so TIRED at the end of the day! Lol! I am sad that the summer is over, but I am delighted to have developed a wonderful bond with the boys and their families! Here are a few of the MANY photos I took of them this summer! Enjoy and Have a Great Day! :)

Tucker is very energetic and has an imaginative personality. Tucker loves to build things. You can give him a roll of duct tape and some paper towel rolls and he will have a creation that is really interesting. He stuffed a million straws into the hose and called it the "super flower soaker". That one cracked me up....Lol! He was always the one instructing the other kids on where to place the couch cushions when they were making a fort in the basement. He has a tender spot and takes others feelings into consideration. It is fun to watch the excitement sparkle in his big golden eyes when he has found something he likes, or watch how focused he can be when he is making something.

Cooper is laid back and loves to have a great time. Cooper is a little easier to talk into doing something, so I usually had a little more luck convincing him. He is more on the shy side and his feelings get hurt when he is not included. He loves to shoot hoops, ride his bike, ride the RipStik, play Guitar hero, play with the dogs, and run around. He is the one that I could cuddle with. He is sweet and loving and always smiling. Cooper loves to laugh.

Logan is full of energy and excitement and is always ready to try something new. Logan loves to ride his bike and the RipStik. He loves to construct, direct and tear down the forts in the basement. He loves to play guitar hero and really jams when he is playing. He has such a bright beautiful smile. He really sticks up for others when something is unfair. He is sweet and sensitive. Logan is always on the move and having fun.

Alex is the helper. I could always count on him to stay with me and help me carry a million things to the pool when the other boys would be halfway down the street. Alex loves to jam to guitar hero or play his mp3s on his cell phone. He is such a caring person and always tried to help settle disputes between the boys. He loves to play Sharks and Minnows, make forts in the basement, and build awesome things with Legos. He is silly and has a great smile. He loves to read, and I really enjoyed our conversations this summer.

(Sniff..Sniff....I am going to miss seeing all of them every day!)
