Cassius is 1!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Cassius turned 1 today! He has been such a blessing in our lives! We have had him since he was 6 weeks old. He brings us a tremendous amount of joy and we love him more than words can express. There is nothing better than coming home to a "wiggly" bottom and lots of wet puppy kisses! He has so much personality and is always making us laugh.

I wanted to make a snow #1, but it would not pack so I sprayed some water with food coloring on it to create a number 1. We also made him a dog birthday cake with a receipe that we found online. Enjoy the photos from his first birthday party!

Snow Days

Yay for Snow! Everyone is complaining about it, but I love it. It's BEAUTIFUL and makes me smile. I remember how exciting it was as a young child to wake up and see that everything was covered with a blanket of snow. My brother and I spent our snow days over at our friends house sledding down the hill by their house. We would spend hours outside until we were frozen and exhausted from climbing the hill. Then we would warm up with a cup of hot chocolate. Memories :)

I was so thankful last week to have two snow days, and this week looks like it might be the same way. It gave me the opportunity to do some things that I have really been wanting to do. I was able to:
1) Sleep in...it was so nice
2) Clean and Organize our Condo (it is such a good feeling to get rid of stuff)
3) Spend some quality time with my Husband
4) Play in the snow with Cassius
5) Get caught up on my DVR shows

We had a great time playing with Cassius the past few days in the snow! He absolutely loves it! He is such an athletic dog and loves to run around, but we were not sure how he would feel about the cold weather. He will run around for about 15 minutes and then runs back to the door when he has had enough. Do you like his winter clothes? He's spoiled! Enjoy the photos! :)
