Old Friends, Good Times!!

Our good friend Dave and his wife Kimberlee came into town this week! They are moving to California and decided to visit us on their way. It was really great to see him and his wife! We went to Spaghetti Warehouse for dinner and had some yummy pasta.... and lots of bread! ha! ha!
After we ate, we tried our luck on the LOVE METER. We all participated and the results were funny! Patty and Dave got UNCONTROLLABLE, Alex and I got WILD, and Shaun and Kimberlee got SEXY. We tried it one more time just to see if the machine really was producing those results and......YEP! We were right it said uncontrollable again! Patty and Dave didn't care, they were pleased with their results.


After dinner we went back to Alex & Patty’s house. We LAUGHED & talked about the fun times that we’ve had together! It was great to see him again and hopefully it isn’t too long before the next time we get together!

IT'S A GIRL!

I am happy to announce that our great friends Patty & Alex are having a BABY GIRL! We are so excited for them! We got to see the crib tonight, and I am really looking forward to getting her cute GIRLY stuff! I LOVE pink! I am sorry Patty, but I will be getting your baby girl things that are pink! LOL! So many great things have happened this past week! I feel like I have had a constant grin on my face!

Congratulations Heather & Justin on your new bundle of joy! Emma is BEAUTIFUL! You are both wonderful parents! I loved watching you bond with her, and look at her in such a LOVING way. It is so much fun to see the unconditional love and excitement that new parents express when they hold their child for the first time. I am so excited to share this happy time with you guys!

Congratulations Katie & Ben!

My best friend Katie recently got engaged on Valentine's Day! What a special day to propose! She has been living in San Francisco since May and is LOVING it there. I have known Katie since I was three years old, and we lived on the same street growing up. She is the definition of a true friend and I have enjoyed going through all the ups and downs of life with her by my side. I am excited to help her plan her wedding! I enjoyed every minute of planning our wedding and I love to be creative! Here is a photo that she emailed to me of her BEAUTIFUL ring!

Bandit

My Father-in-law and Mother-in-law had a friend that was looking for a good home for their dog, Bandit. After spending the weekend with the six year old Jack Russell Terrier they couldn’t resist him any longer and decided to keep him! He is such a great dog and LOVES to cuddle! He has found a home where he will be spoiled and loved! I found this quote from the book 101 Salivations: For The Love of Dogs, and thought I would share.

Yay! My First Blog

Hey! I am very excited that I have started my first blog! I was irritated because I wanted my blog address to be MeghaNicole but someone had already used it so I had to add the 8. The number eight is significant in my life because I was born in 83, Shaun and I started dating 8-8-03 and I married him in 2008. I think this is a good way to share what is going on in my life, although it is pretty uneventful sometimes. My goal is to keep you updated on new things that interest me, activities that I am involved with, and of course I will post lots of photos! For my first photo I thought I would post one of my MANY favorite photos from our wedding. My friend Jennel did an amazing job taking photos for our wedding and I hope that someday I can be as good as she is!
